David and Daphne Performance

Our story, based on the Greek tale of Apollo and Daphne, who turned into a laurel tree in order to escape Apollo's relentless pursuit, is now resurrected upon the lush gardens of David Fairchild's estate. Fairchild, the relentless uber-plant collector, surely would have approved of Daphne’s method.

Performers are Lauren Shapiro as Daphne, Carlos Jara as David/Apollo, Jahzel Dotel singing and Noelle Richardson stage directing.
