A Permanent Public Art Project facilitated by the New York City based environmental nonprofit, Root For Trees, in association with Partnerships For Parks, a sister organization to the NYC Parks and Recreation Department and the City Parks Foundation. Chelsea will be the first neighborhood to display the signs of 28 artists, including Kiki Smith, Swoon, R. Crumb, David Byrne and Kenny Scharf.
