Several walls in Downtown Miami were designated as palettes for artists to inscribe with a simple word and color combination. I chose to reference the quasi-historical myth of the city's founder Julie Tuttle, who was said to have sent Henry Flagler in Chicago a bouquet of orange blossoms during a freeze. While the rest of the country stood frozen, Miami was the tropics. Come build your empire here proclaimed the vision.
